FAQ

Canada questions, answered

How much money do I need to show for a Canadian study permit?

First-year tuition plus roughly CAD 22,895 in living funds (2026 requirement outside Quebec), usually via a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC). We structure your financial file so it clears without queries.

What CRS score do I need for Express Entry?

General draws have recently ranged around 480–540, but category draws (healthcare, trades, French) invite lower scores. If your CRS is below the cut-off, we target provincial nominations that add 600 points.

Can I include my spouse and children in Express Entry?

Yes — one application covers the whole family, all landing as permanent residents together. A spouse's language test and education can even add points.

Is IELTS mandatory for Canada?

For Express Entry, yes (IELTS General or CELPIP). For study permits, most DLIs require IELTS 6.0+. We guide borderline candidates to PTE-accepting pathways where possible.

My Canada visit visa was refused. What now?

Refusal letters cite generic reasons — we order the officer's actual GCMS notes, fix the real weakness, and refile. Most of our successful visit clients come to us after a refusal elsewhere.
